1.How did the idea for your business come about?

I always wanted to eventually start a business. My business idea is based on my desire to improve Philadelphia neighborhoods.

2.What was your key driving force to become an entrepreneur?I know I can have more of an impact in my field of business as an entrepreneur.

I can volunteer, work on projects that I enjoy and work with people I develop relationships with over years of interactions.

3.How did you come up with the name for your company?

I wanted to help improve the aesthetics of urban environments.

4.How did you raise funding for your venture?

I did not need much funding. I needed licenses and insurance and some classes to help me understand business. I used my weekly pay.

5.How do you build a successful customer base?

I think relationships with customers and referral partners help shore up a customer base. Networking and developing relationships.

6.How do you market your business, and which tactics have been most

Networking, networking groups, education and social media.

7.Can you describe/outline your typical day?

My days vary but here is a list of activities:
I check emails and messages.
I address important issues and communications.
Some days require site visits and some require drawing all day.
Some days are filled with zoom meetings.
Some days are filled with calls.
8.How has being an entrepreneur affected your family life?
I sometimes miss family events.

We are all entrepreneurs so we support one another.

9.What motivates you?

Coffee & Architecture. I absolutely love both. I guess I would say the work adds motivation.

10.How do you generate new ideas?

Creativity flows from conversations and past experiences. My desire to do something different or make changes helps new ideas. Creating solutions is something I enjoy.

11.What is your greatest fear, and how do you manage fear?

Not being able to be an influencer.
I am constantly giving back, especially to young people.
Prayer is the best tool for managing fear and disappointments.
12.What are your ideals?
Doing my best, doing well and pleasing clients.
13.How do you define success?
Doing my best at what I love doing.
I also define success as doing activities that you enjoy and have talents that afford you opportunities
